About Barrio San Isidro

Barrio San Isidro is a pixel art farming game set in the Philippines of 1868, built in Godot 4 by Christopher Lim. You work a small farm by the river: till the soil, plant and water, and live by the calendar, the weather and the bells.

The Story So Far

Manila, 1868. You carry sacks on the Binondo docks until a letter arrives from a grandfather you barely remember. The farm by the river in San Isidro is yours: the kubo, the carabao's yoke, and the debts.

Barrio San Isidro Devlog

I'm building the game one feature per episode and recording each step: the plan, the Godot code, and the things that went wrong.
